Yes, if you train on your own.

Every individual account starts on Basic, the free plan — log workouts, meals and cardio, build a program of your own and use the exercise library, free for as long as you like.

The paid Premium plan adds Today’s Goal (your daily recap, injury follow-ups and goal phases), sleep, water and recovery tracking, Smart Insights, Smart Suggest (suggested workouts, menus and cardio), several active programs, nutrition insights and meal-plan analysis, muscle-region library browsing, gym discovery and progress photos, from KES 500 a month (KES 1,350 for 3 months, 2,500 for 6 months or 4,500 for a year).

If a personal trainer coaches you, or you belong to a gym, apartment estate, hotel or company on AtgoraX, you do not pay — your trainer’s or organisation’s plan covers you.

The free Basic plan is for individuals only. Personal trainers, gyms, gym chains, hotels, apartment estates and corporate organisations use paid plans for their professional features — see pricing.

No, not unless you choose to be.

AtgoraX subscriptions are prepaid, fixed-period purchases. You pay once for the period you chose, and when it ends nothing further is charged by default.

Automatic renewal is optional and switched off unless you turn it on. If you enable it, we charge your saved card on the period-end date for the same duration. It requires a saved card — M-Pesa authorisations cannot be reused for automatic charges. You can switch auto-renewal off, or remove your card, at any time in your billing settings.

Yes.

If auto-renewal is off, there is nothing to cancel — your plan simply ends when the period you paid for ends, and you keep full access until that date.

If auto-renewal is on, switch it off before the renewal date to stop the next charge. Turning it off does not shorten your current period.

Nothing is deleted. If you train on your own, a Premium plan that ends simply drops you back to the free Basic plan — your logging carries on and only the Premium extras lock.

For trainer and business plans, there is a short read-only grace period after expiry where your history stays viewable, and after that the paid features lock — but your data stays. If you are a trainer, your clients keep full access to their own history throughout.

If the lapsed plan is an add-on — an instructor’s Personal Trainer plan, or a member’s or client’s Premium add-on — only its extra features lock. The membership, coaching or facility work underneath carries on as normal.

Your data is never deleted because a subscription lapsed, and cancelling a subscription does not delete your account.

Payments are processed securely by Paystack. At checkout you can pay with:

• Mobile money — M-Pesa (Kenya) and other supported mobile money networks in your region
• Cards — Visa and Mastercard (and Verve where supported)

Available methods depend on your country and on your Paystack-supported region. We never see or store your card number.

No. AtgoraX records your membership plans, member status, and renewal dates so you can track who has paid and when they are due — but member fees are collected by your gym, outside the app, however you collect them today. The AtgoraX subscription you pay is separate from your members’ gym fees.
