AtgoraX launches early September 2026. These guides are published ahead of launch — the app is not open to the public yet. Get launch updates.

If you want to stop being coached — you are moving on, changing trainer, or just want to train on your own — you can end it yourself. You do not have to ask your trainer to do it for you, and you do not have to delete your account.

  1. Open Settings (your profile).
  2. Find Leave your trainer.
  3. Optionally add a short message explaining why — your trainer sees it.
  4. Confirm the request.

Your trainer is notified straight away.

Once you request it, there is a seven-day notice period. This exists so a trainer who is mid-programme with you has a chance to hand over properly rather than being cut off without warning.

During those seven days:

  • Your trainer can approve it early. If they do, coaching ends immediately.
  • You can cancel the request at any time from the same Settings section. Nothing changes and you stay with your trainer.
  • Everything works as normal — you keep your programme, your meal plan and your messages.

If your trainer does nothing, the request completes automatically at the end of the seven days. You are never left waiting on a trainer who has stopped responding.

  • Your trainer no longer has access to your data, and you disappear from their client roster.
  • Your account and your history stay yours. Logs, progress photos, measurements, completed sessions — none of it is deleted.
  • You move to training on your own and keep using the app as a member.
  • You can find another trainer whenever you want — see Find a trainer or gym.

A trainer can also end the relationship from their side. The outcome is the same: your account and history stay intact, and you carry on training on your own.

Leaving your trainer is not the same as deleting your account. If you want your data erased, see Download or delete your data.
