Leaving your gym
If you are switching gyms or stopping altogether, you can end your membership in the app yourself. You do not need the gym to do it for you, and you do not lose your training history.
How to request it
Section titled “How to request it”- Open Settings (your profile).
- Find Leave your gym.
- Optionally add a short message — the gym owner sees it.
- Confirm the request.
The gym owner is notified straight away.
The seven-day notice period
Section titled “The seven-day notice period”There is a seven-day notice period before it takes effect, so the gym can close off attendance, assignments and any handover.
During those seven days:
- The gym owner can approve it early, which ends the membership immediately.
- You can cancel the request at any time from the same Settings section.
- Nothing changes in the meantime — you can still check in, follow your programme and message your instructor.
If the gym does nothing, the request completes automatically after seven days, so you are never stuck waiting on an owner who does not respond.
What happens when it completes
Section titled “What happens when it completes”- Your membership ends and you no longer appear on the gym’s member roster.
- Any instructor assignment ends, and that instructor loses access to your data.
- Your training history stays yours — logs, progress, measurements and photos are not deleted.
- If you had been training in the app, your account converts to a personal account so you keep your programme and keep logging on your own. See Members.
- If you were not training in the app, you can browse other gyms on Discover whenever you are ready.
Joining somewhere else
Section titled “Joining somewhere else”Once the membership has ended you are free to join another gym or connect with a trainer — see Find a trainer or gym.
Deleting your account instead
Section titled “Deleting your account instead”Leaving a gym is not the same as deleting your account. To erase your data, see Download or delete your data.
