Install the app on your phone

AtgoraX is a progressive web app (PWA) — you install it straight from your browser. There is nothing to download from an app store.

You do not have to work out the steps yourself. When you tap Get started or Log in on app.atgorax.com, AtgoraX takes you to a short install walkthrough first, detects the device you are on, and shows only the steps that apply to it.

What the walkthrough does

1. You tap Get started or Log in on the entry page.
2. AtgoraX opens the install guide and checks what you are using — iPhone, Android, or a computer browser.
3. It shows the matching steps. You can also tap Change device and pick a different platform yourself.
4. Once the icon is on your home screen, tap Done — it’s on my home screen and you continue straight to sign-up or sign-in.

Note

Already installed? If you open the app from your home screen icon, the walkthrough is skipped entirely — you go straight to sign-up or sign-in.

You are never forced through it. The guide has a Continue in browser for now option (and a Skip — already installed as app option), so you can always go on to sign in and install later.

iPhone / iPad

Installing has to happen in Safari — it is the only browser on iOS that can add an app to the home screen.

1. Tap the ••• button at the bottom right of Safari.
2. In the menu, tap Share.
3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add in the top-right corner.

Note

On older versions of iOS, Safari shows a Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) instead of the ••• button. Tap that and skip to step 3.

If you are in Chrome, Firefox, Edge or an in-app browser on iPhone, the guide tells you to open the page in Safari first, because those browsers cannot install it.

Android

If your browser supports it, the guide shows a single Install AtgoraX button — tap it and confirm.

If you do not see that button:

1. Tap the menu icon (⋮) in the top-right of Chrome.
2. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen.
3. Confirm — AtgoraX appears with your other apps.

If you are not using Chrome (Samsung Internet, Firefox, Opera, or a browser inside Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp), the guide offers an Open in Chrome button that reopens the page there. If Chrome is not installed, it points you to the Play Store.

Desktop or laptop

1. In Chrome or Edge, look for the install icon in the address bar (a monitor with a down arrow).
2. Or open the browser menu (⋮) → Install AtgoraX.
3. On Mac Safari: File → Add to Dock.

Desktop works fine, but training reminders and offline access work best from a phone — the guide will suggest opening the site on your phone instead.

Why it is worth installing

• Push notifications on iPhone only work from the installed app, never from a Safari tab. See Notifications.
• The app opens full-screen, without browser chrome.
• Offline logging is more reliable — see Working offline.

Activating an invite

If a trainer or gym sent you an invite, Activate your account on the entry page goes straight to activation and does not route through the install walkthrough. Activate first, then install whenever you like — see Activate your account.
